     ગુજરાત રાજ્યના મુખ્ય મંત્રી છે.નરેન્દ્ર દામોદરદાસ મોદીનો જન્મ એક પછાત (OBC)મધ્યમ વર્ગ કુટુંબમાં વડનગર ખાતે થયો હતો.તે દામોદરદાસ મૂલચંદ મોદી અને તેમના પત્ની હીરાબેન મોદીના છ સંતાન પૈકી ત્રીજુ સંતાન હતા.
 
     તે નાનપણથી જ રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્વયંસેવક સંઘના સભ્ય હતા. તેમને કિશોરાવસ્થાથી રાજકારણમાં રસ હતો. તેમણે ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટીમાંથી રાજકીય વિજ્ઞાનમાં અનુસ્નાતકની પદવી પ્રાપ્ત કરી છે.
   
    ૧૯૯૮ માં ભારતીય જનતા પાર્ટી (ભાજપ) ના નેતા લાલક્રુષ્ણ અડવાણી દ્વારા ગુજરાત અને હિમાચલ પ્રદેશની ચૂંટણી પ્રચાર માટે તેમની પસંદગી દ્વારા કરવામાં આવી હતી.
 
    ઇ.સ. ૨૦૦૧ના વર્ષમાં પૂર્વ મુખ્ય મંત્રી કેશુભાઈ પટેલ રાજીનામું આપ્યા બાદ તેઓ ૭ઓક્ટોબર૨૦૦૧ના    દિવસે મુખ્ય મંત્રી બન્યા હતા.

     વર્ષ ૨૦૦૭ની ચુંટણીમાં જંગી બહુમતીથી જીત્યા બાદ તેઓ ગુજરાત રાજ્યના ત્રીજી વખત ચુંટાઇ આવેલા એક માત્ર મુખ્યમંત્રી છે.

અંગત જીવન

      મોદીનો જન્મ વડનગરનાં એક મધ્યમ વર્ગના પરિવારમા થયો હતો જે તે સમયે ભારતનાં મુંબઇ રાજ્યમાં આવતું હતુ. સાઠના દશકમાં તેમણે યુવાવસ્થામાં ભારત-પાક યુધ્ધ દરમ્યાન રેલ્વે સ્ટેશનના માર્ગ પર સૈનિકોની સેવા કરી હતી

   ૧૯૬૭માં તેમણે ગુજરાતમાં રેલ પ્રભાવિત લોકોની સેવા કરી હતી. યુવાન વયે જ તેઓ અખિલ ભારતીય વિધાર્થી પરિષદ સાથે જોડાઈ ગયા હતા.

      યુવાનાવસ્થામાં તેઓ અખિલ ભારતીય વિદ્યાર્થી પરિષદ સંસ્થામાં એક વિદ્યાર્થી તરીકે જોડાયા અને ભ્રષ્ટાચાર વિરોધી "નવનિર્માણ અંદોલન"માં સક્રિય ભાગ ભજવ્યો હતો.

      અખિલ ભારતીય વિદ્યાર્થી પરિષદમાં સંપૂર્ણ સમયના કાર્યકર તરીકે જોડાયા પછી તેમને ભારતીય જનતા પાર્ટી (ભાજપા)ના પ્રતિનિધિ તરીકે પસંદ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા.તેઓ કિશોરાવસ્થામાં તેમના ભાઈ સાથે ચા ની લારી ચલાવતા હતા.

     તેમણે ભારતમાં સામાજીક અને સાંસ્કૃતિક વિકાસના કાર્ય સાથે સંકળાયેલી સંસ્થા રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્વયંસેવક સંઘ સાથે જોડાઈને પણ કાર્ય કર્યું છે.

    નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ શાળાકીય અભ્યાસ વડનગરમાં પૂર્ણ કરેલો છે. તેઓ ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટીમાંથી રાજયશાસ્ત્ર વિષય સાથે અનુસ્નાતક થયા હતા. તે એક સારા લેખક તરીકે પણ જાણીતા છે, તેમના લખાયેલા ઘણા પુસ્તકો પ્રસિદ્ધ પણ થયા છે.

પ્રારંભિક પ્રવૃત્તિઓ અને રાજકારણ

     આરએસએસ સાથેના તેમના કાર્યકાળ દરમિયાન, મોદીએ 1974 આંદોલન વિરોધી ભ્રષ્ટાચાર અને 19 મહિનાની (જૂન 1975 થી જાન્યુઆરી 1977) લાંબી 'કટોકટી (ભારત)' સહિત અનેક મહત્વપૂર્ણ અને કપરા પ્રસંગો પર ભૂમિકા ભજવી હતી. મોદી તેમના યુનિવર્સિટીના વર્ષ દરમ્યાન આરએસએસના એક પ્રચારક તરીકે હતા.

      તેમણે 1987માં ભાજપમાં જોડાયા અને તેના દ્વારા રાજકારણના મુખ્ય પ્રવાહમાં દાખલ થયા. માત્ર એક વર્ષમાં તેમની ગુજરાત એકમના જનરલ સેક્રેટરી સ્તર પર તેમની વરણી કરવામાં આવી હતી. તે સમયે તેઓએ પહેલેથી જ ખૂબ જ કાર્યક્ષમ વ્યવસ્થાપક બનવા માટે ખ્યાતિ મેળવી લીધી હતી (સંદર્ભ આપો). તેમણે શંકરસિંહ વાધેલા સાથે ભાગીદારીમાં ગુજરાતમાં મજબૂત સંવર્ગ આધાર બનાવવા પ્રયત્નો કર્યા. પ્રારંભિક ગાળામાં, વાઘેલા એક સમૂહ નેતા તરીકે જોવામાં આવ્યા હતા, જ્યારે મોદીને એક કુશળ નીતિનીયામક તરીકે જોવામાં આવ્યા હતા.

     ત્યારબાદ પક્ષે રાજકીય કક્ષાએ ગતિ મેળવવાની શરૂ થઇ અને એપ્રિલ 1990 ના કેન્દ્રમાં સંયુક્ત સરકારની રચના કરી હતી. આ ભાગીદારી થોડા મહિના સુધી નિમિત્ત હતી, પરંતુ ભાજપ ગુજરાત માં બે તૃતીયાંશ બહુમતી સાથે 1995 માં સત્તા પર આવી હતી.આ સમયગાળામાં મોદીએ "સોમનાથ થી અયોધ્યાની રથયાત્રા"(એક રૂપાંતરિત ટોયોટા વાન પર ભારત દ્વારા રાજકીય રેલીમાં) અને "કન્યાકુમારી થી કાશ્મીર"(ભારતના દક્ષિણનો ભાગ)ની કુચ જેવા નિર્ણાયક રાષ્ટ્રીય પ્રસંગોની જવાબદારી ઉપાડી હતી.

     શંકરસિંહ વાધેલાની ભાજપમાંથી બાદબાકી થયા બાદ કેશુભાઈ પટેલ ગુજરાતના મુખ્યમંત્રી તરીકે નિયુકત થયા અને નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ પક્ષ જનરલ સેક્રેટરી તરીકે દિલ્હી મોકલવામાં આવ્યા હતા.

     1995 માં, મોદીએ પક્ષના રાષ્ટ્રીય સચિવ તરીકે નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી હતી અને ભારતમાં પાંચ મુખ્ય રાજ્યો ચાર્જ આપવામાં - યુવાન નેતા માટે એક અપૂર્વ સિદ્ધિ (સંદર્ભ આપો). 1998 માં, તેમને જનરલ (સંસ્થા) સચિવશ્રી, પોસ્ટ તેમણે ઓક્ટોબર 2001 સુધી રાખવામાં તરીકે બઢતી આપવામાં આવી હતી. 2001 થી, નરેન્દ્ર મોદી પક્ષ દ્વારા પસંદ થયેલ, બેકરૂમ બળવામાં મુખ્ય મંત્રી કેશુભાઈ પટેલને દૂર કરાયા પછી, ગુજરાત મુખ્ય પ્રધાન છે.

            માતાનો મોદીએ 2007 ના ચૂંટણી પ્રચાર અમુક ઉત્તેજનાત્મક ગુજરાત અને તેની આક્રમક નેતાગીરી માટે તેમની દ્રષ્ટિ પ્રતિબિંબ ભાષણો સાથે ચિહ્નિત થયેલ હતી. આવી એક ભાષણ માંગરોલ ખાતે સોનિયા ગાંધી માતાનો ભાષણ તેમને "મોત ના સોદાગર" ,અને શોહરાબુદીન હત્યાનો ઉલ્લેખ કરવામા આવ્યો હતા .

      તેમ છતાં ભાજપ મુશ્કેલીથી માટે ગુજરાત, રાજકોટ બેઠક નિયંત્રણ લગભગ 20 વર્ષ પછી, નુકશાન માં બેઠકો બહુમતી જીતવા વ્યવસ્થાપિત અનિચ્છનીય હતી. શરદ યાદવ જેવા અગ્રણી રાજકારણીઓ ટિપ્પણી કરી કે ભવિષ્યના વડાપ્રધાન તરીકે માતાનો ભાજપ મોદી પ્રક્ષેપણ 2009 ની લોકસભા ચૂંટણીઓમાં તેનો પ્રભાવ અસર છે..

How To Edit Cloudflare Setup After Changing Web host

CloudFlare is a content delivery network and distributed domain name server service marketed as improving website performance and speed and providing security. the primary reasons i love it is, it has feature-rich free service and protection against DDoS attack.

After moving this blog to a new host, it was necessary I update the domain nameserver to point to the new host. mind you the domain is hosted at CloudFlare which in turn is pointing to my web host IP address.

I didn’t want to take the risk of deleting and re-adding my website to CloudFlare as I will lose my personalize configuration settings.

If you had a change of host, no need altering your domain name server provided by cloudflare (xxx.ns.cloudflare.com), or deleting and re-adding your website. all you should do is, on your CloudFlare DNS Zone File page, change every “A” record’s IP address of your old host to your new host IP address as shown in the image below.

To get your new web host IP address, check the sidebar of your cPanel manager.

Alternatively, use a DNS lookup tool like magic-net.info or DNSstuff to get your web host IP.

Allow time for the DNS changes to propagate and your site will be up and running

Disabling WordPress “Website URL” Comment Field

For sometime now, i disabled/removed the field for commentators to input their website link while dropping a comment because of the excessive spam comments i was receiving. afterward, i wasn’t receiving comment on this blog because commentators won’t have any incentive in wasting their time writing comment. for a moment i felt relieve as i now have the time in the world to focus on my article writing.
A comment by Adrian Jock made me did a re-think. for some reasons best known to me, i have decided to make public the website URL field in comment form.

For those who may be curious on how i removed the URL field, am going to share how i did it. mind you, this blog is built on the awesome Genesis theme framework. i didn’t have to edit my theme core file because my hack will be wiped away by an update nor use a plugin. all i did was to get the CSS ID or class wrapping thewebsite url field.
This can be gotten when you view your website source-code (Ctrl+U) or useFirebug add-on for Firefox browser or Element inspection in Chrome and Opera.

For Genesis framework, the URL field is wrap with

from the code above, we now know the CSS class used is comment-form-url so i wrote a little CSS rule to hide the field using the code below;

The website url field should now be hidden. next thing i did was to install and activate Disable comment author links. as it name goes, the plugin removes all hyperlinks from comment author user names and strip all links from commenter names wherever they may appear throughout your site’s theme.
